We obtain proof of postage for all orders.

*Bulky or Heavy Items (over 2kg) - if your order is classed as a bulky or heavy item, we may need to add a surcharge onto the cost of delivery, however, we will contact you in the first instance, for your approval and prior to processing your order payment.


As stated above, our standard shipping is 2nd class, either by courier (Hermes) or Royal mail, depending on the weight.  Royal Mail aim to deliver within 2-3 working days (excluding Saturday). Hermes also aim to deliver within 2-3 working days (excluding Saturday), however, with both Royal Mail and Hermes, this can vary considerably during busy periods.


If your order has been sent via Hermes, you will be notified of the tracking number.  Hermes will attempt to deliver your parcel 3 times, or you can request delivery to a safe place, however, neither we nor the delivery company will accept responsibility or liability for any parcel which is left outdoors.  If delivery has been unsuccessful, due to being unclaimed or an incorrect delivery address, Hermes reserve the right to use the returns label within the parcel to return it back to us.  If the parcel has been returned to us, we will contact you and offer to either resend your order or issue a refund, however, please be aware that you are responsible for the additional delivery charges to send it back to you. If you request a refund, please be aware that the initial delivery charges will not be reimbursed.


Royal Mail generally leave an information card for undelivered items, but not always. If a card has been left, it is your responsibility to follow the instructions on the card to either arrange redelivery or collect from your local sorting/delivery office. If your parcel has not arrived as expected, please check areas where parcels may have been left, or alternatively contact your local sorting/delivery office.  It may have been unsuitable to leave your parcel in a safe place.  Please note that Royal Mail terms dictate that a parcel is not considered lost until 10 working days (2 weeks) have elapsed, after the expected delivery date.  If your parcel is deemed to be lost, we will work with you to try and locate it.


Please ensure we have the correct postal address for your order, as we cannot accept liability or be held accountable for any order which failed to arrive, due to an incorrect or incomplete postal address.

We aim to dispatch orders within 24 hours of receiving your payment, however, please be aware that our business is in a rural location, and occasions may arise beyond our control, where dispatch times may be compromised.  We will contact you prior to completing your order if this situation arises.

We hope you appreciate, that due to our competitive product prices, we are unable to offer free shipping on orders under £100.

We have tried to be as fair as possible with our shipping rates, but we are governed with prices already set with Royal Mail and our Couriers.  Quite often the shipping costs are more than we charge our customers, however, we feel the flat rates we charge to be the fairest option.  Our rates are based on fees that we ourselves are charged for postage and packing.


Occasionally, an order can be sent in a more economical way, for example, it may be within the size and weight restrictions of a large letter.  If this is the case, we may offer a discretionary discount code with a minimum value of £1.  This can then be redeemed against a future order.  Please note discount codes are non-redeemable against p&p charges and will have an expiration date. No further code will be issued to replace expired codes which haven’t been redeemed. We reserve the right to withdraw this discretionary discount at any time, and without warning or explanation.  No monetary refund will be given for the difference.


If your order is urgent, please contact us before placing your order, and we will endeavour to accommodate your requirements, with the offer of either a Royal Mail 24-hour or 48-hour service.  This service will incur a further charge in accordance with Royal Mail postal rates, and again, due to our location, this option may not be viable at certain times.

Unfortunately, at present, delivery destinations are limited to within the UK only, however, this may be reviewed in the future.
